Halloween is almost here and all the fun Halloween parties and events that go with it! You can make these super easy DIY Zombie Cookie Pops to bring and wow the guests! This DIY Zombie Cookie Pop is super easy to make. You don’t even have to be super perfect either! The imperfections are what makes the zombies perfect! The more swirly the candy melts are, the more it looks like a zombie’s wrinkly skin. You can even make some with missing eyes!

You will need:

  • a cake pop stand
  • 1-2 packages of
  • dark green candy melt
  • 1 TBSP shortening
  • Megastuf Oreos (the Doublestuf can sometimes be too small)
  • Lollipop/cake pop sticks
  • candy eyes
  • purple jimmies (the long stick sprinkles)
  • a heat proof cup that fits your Oreos (so you can dip them)

Step 1:
Microwave your candy melts in your dipping cup/bowl until it’s all melted. Stir in your shortening until it’s all combined.

Step 2:
Next twist open your Oreos and set it on your table. Then dip your stick into the candy melt and push it into the cream. Put the other side of the Oreo back snug snd stand it up in your tray. Repeat with the rest of the Oreos. Let the cookie pops set for 10 minutes.

Step 3:
Then dip and cover your Cookie Pops with the rest of the candy melt. Remember, you don’t have to be perfect here! Wait about a minute for it to start setting up.

Step 4:
Now dip your cookie pop into the purple sprinkles to make the zombie’s hair! Then add those super creepy candy eyes. You can make it anyway you like! You can even have a few zombies with only 1 eye.

Done!
That’s it! Let the cookie pops fully set before wrapping it up or serving them. (You can refrigerate them to make this quicker.)
