These White Chocolate Fortune Cookies are perfect for a Valentine’s gift! They’re a great alternative to the traditional chocolate dipped strawberries and they’re also super cute and fun! Make a dozen and put them in a gift box for your Valentine this year. You can use the left over chocolate to make a Valentine themed White Chocolate Candy Bark as well!
You will need:
- fortune cookies
- white chocolate melting wafers
- you can also use white candy melts, but the white chocolate tastes better to me
- Valentine sprinkles
- wax paper
Melt the white chocolate in the microwave (ask an adult if you aren’t one!). Once it’s all melted, dip half of the fortune cookie into the chocolate, let the excess drip off. Now cover it with your choice of sprinkles and set it onto the wax paper. You can make them all the same or change up the sprinkles. Once they’re all dipped and decorated, you can stick them in the fridge for a few minutes to set it up.
Step 2: (optional)
You can use the left over white chocolate to make Valentine bark. Just spread the rest of your white chocolate over a sheet of wax paper. You can add a little pink food coloring and swirl it around like I did. Then add some sprinkles all over the top. Stick it in the fridge and let it set with the fortune cookies. Once it’s set, break it into little pieces!
That’s it! Find a cute little gift box, line it with some wax paper and then add a layer of the bark (if you made any) then add the awesome fortune cookies on top.
