Yay! Our computer is finally finished upgrading this morning. Sorry for the late video! Today’s craft is a super cute stuffed bunny. It’s really easy to make and you can probably find everything you need around the house. If you’re going to make these for little babies. I’d suggest using a stronger fabric glue as well as using felt or safety eyes. You can also ask an adult to sew on the pieces to make them stronger.
You will need:
- glue gun
- different colored felt
- I used white for the ears, pink for the nose, and various colors for the ears and scarves.
- white tube socks
- I got 3 of them for a $1 at the dollar store
- googly eyes
- safety eyes or small black felt circles would work too.
- white pom pom
- cotton/fiber fill
- small rubber bands
First cut off the top of the sock, the stuff the sock with cotton until you make a small ball. Tie it up with your rubber band.
Pour rice into the sock, then lay it on the table so the crease at the front of the sock is horizontal. Then add more cotton on top of the rice until you make a big oval. Tie it again and cut off the ends sticking out.
Put glue all over the end and the rubber band and press on a white pom pom to make the tail. Hold it in place until it’s set.
Now add some glue to the top of the oval and press the small ball back. This forms the bunny’s head. Hold it there for a while until it’s set.
Cut out two bunny ear shapes from the white felt, then cut the same shape in another color, but make it a little bit smaller. This piece is for the inside of the ear. Glue them together. Then cut out a small heart from the pink felt for the bunny nose.
Glue the ears along the crease of the sock, then glue the eyes and nose on as well.
That’s it! You’re done! It’s so cute and fluffy!!
