Sorry for the lack of DIYs lately! I had a mini-family vacation this past weekend. We went to Schlitterbahn and then we spent a few days in San Antonio with my cousins. I had a ton of fun but then I got sick after, so I’ve been super duper tired. I managed to get some energy today, so I made a quick DIY for y’all and I announced the winner of my 1000 subscriber giveaway!
The DIY I made today is a neat Chalkboard Picture Holder that you can use to display small pictures and Instax pictures! You can write any message you want on the photo holder with chalk and wipe it away later with a damp paper towel! It’s super cute on a desk or on a shelf!
You will need:
- pairs of blocks of wood that are the same size
- glue gun
- chalkboard paint
- paint brush
Paint all your blocks with the chalkboard paint and let it fully dry, you might need to do another coat depending on what type of paint you have.
Once it’s dry, put a big dot of glue on each end of one of the blocks of wood. Place the other matching block of wood on top and slightly press down, but not all the way. This leaves a little gap like in the picture above to slide your pictures in.
That’s it! Wasn’t it super easy? Now just push a picture between the gap, and write or draw anything you want onto the holder!
