This is a super cute craft that’s Easter themed, but you can use it all year long! This DIY Fuzzy Chicken Jar is perfect to hold your pencils, paint brushes, markers, or anything else that you like! It’s a quick craft to make and a perfect way to use those leftover pasta sauce jars!

You will need:

  • scissors
  • black, orange, and white felt
  • fuzzy yellow yarn
  • mod podge
  • paint brush

Easy Easter Crafts for Kids, Toddlers, Children

Step 1:
First cut two circles out of the black felt for the eyes, two tiny circles out of the white felt, and a triangle and two chicken feet out of the orange felt.

Step 2:
Now cover the jar with mod podge a small section at a time and wrap your yarn around it. Repeat until the entire jar is done. You can go back up to cover any spots that you might have missed as well.

Step 3:
Glue the eyes on, then add the little white circles to the top left of each eye for a “sparkly eye” effect. Glue on the beak and then add the two cute chicken feet to the bottom.
