Yay, day 3! This DIY Candy Cane Bark would make a perfect Christmas treat for Santa, you can also make lots and lots and give it away as gifts! You can add less crushed candy canes for younger children and more for older children! They also have peppermint candy melt if you want it super pepperminty!
You will need:
- White Candy Melts
- Red Candy Melts
- Candy Cane
- Plastic Bag
- Parchment Paper
- Measuring Cup
Put the candy canes in a bag and smash them up!
Line a tray with parchment paper. Ask an adult to microwave the white candy melts, pour it onto the parchment paper and spread it out.
Put about half of the red candy melts into a bag and ask an adult to heat this up too. Squeeze out the red candy melts on top of the white candy melts. Use a spatula and swirl the candy melts!
Sprinkle the crushed candy canes onto the top. You can also add anything else you like at this point like candies and sprinkles!
Refrigerate this for about 10 minutes or until hard.
Now you just have to break it into pieces! Put them inside gift boxes or jars to give away as gifts. Or you can just sit there and eat it like I did! 🙂
