Today is my birthday! I just turned 6!! I’m also super happy to be back.  I had to take a break because my whole family and I got the flu. We still got sick even with the flu shot this year. 🙁 I also had a lot of school work to catch up on since I was sick, so I decided to take a break from YouTube for a little bit. I missed you guys so much though and wanted to come back sooner. Since it’s my birthday, I decided to make y’all my birthday cake brownie recipe. I hope you guys like it!

You will need:

  • a mixing bowl
  • a whisk and a spatula
  • a brownie pan
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 stick of butter – room temperature/softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup of packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • rainbow sprinkles

Step 1:
Beat the brown sugar and butter until it’s creamy.  You can use an electric mixer to make this a LOT faster. When it’s creamy, add the eggs and the vanilla and mix it thoroughly.

Step 2:
Now add the flour, baking soda, salt, and a bunch of sprinkles! Mix it super duper well!

Step 3:
Scatter some sprinkles on the bottom of your brownie pan, then pour the batter on top and spread it out.

Step 4:
Pre-heat your oven to 350F. Bake for about 25-35 minutes until it’s golden brown.  Depending on the thickness, you might need to cook it a bit longer too. Just check it every 10 minutes until the center is done.

Step 5:
Pull the brownie out of the oven and set it on a cooling rack.  Wait until it’s cool and cut it into cute little squares!

That’s it! Hope y’all like my birthday cake brownie recipe!
