Nothing says fall like the awesome taste of apple cider. Ollie recommends going to a farm and getting fresh apple cider. It’s so much better than the store bought stuff! Ollie and her brother love these popsicles (she made two batches and they ate them all up).
You will need:
- Apple Cider (get the fresh stuff!)
- Tiny Diced Apples – about 1/8 of a cup (Ollie loves honeycrisps)
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of sugar
Add the cinnamon and sugar to the apples and mix it well.
Add a tiny bit of apples to each popsicle mold.
Pour the apple cider in, leave a little bit of room at the top to put the popsicle sticks in.
Freeze the popsicles for a few hours. Depending on which mold you use, it could take 2-4 hours. She just left it in the freezer overnight for a fun snack after lunch the next day.
You’re done! Before you eat, run the molds under hot water for a minute or so to get the popsicle out!
