Time for something yummy in your tummy! This treat is sweet and salty with a hint of pumpkin pie! Make lots of it and give it to your friends, family, and teachers! Store it in an airtight container and enjoy it all month long, or if you’re like my brother and I, they were gone within two days! 🙂
*This recipe requires the use of a microwave so adult supervision will be needed!
You will need:
- 1 bag of Bright White Candy Melts
- 1/2 bag of Pumpkin Spice Candy Melts
- a ziplock bag
- parchment paper
- assorted Halloween sprinkles
- candy corn mix
- a measuring cup
- a spatula
Pour one bag of the white candy melts into a measuring cup. Microwave it for 30 seconds and stir. Continue microwaving in 10 second intervals stirring each time until the candy is melted. *Do not overheat.*
After it is melted, pour the melted candy onto a sheet of parchment paper. You might want to secure the parchment paper at the corners to keep it from sliding back and forth.
Spread the candy into a rectangular shape between 1/8″ to 1/4″ thick. No need to be exact!
Sprinkle the toppings (candy corn, pretzels, sprinkles, colored sugar) all over the candy while it is still warm. Press down on the bigger items to make sure they stick.
Next, add half a bag of the Pumpkin Spice Candy Melts into a ziplock bag. Microwave it 10 seconds at a time and need it until it is fully melted. Snip off a tiny corner of the bag and drizzle it over your candy and sprinkles.
Place the entire sheet of parchment paper into your fridge and chill for about 15 minutes. It will be very firm when fully chilled.
When it is fully chilled, take it out of the fridge and break it into small pieces with your hands.
Place them into jars and give them as gifts or store it in an airtight container to snack on whenever you want!
